Transcoding

I am new to Serviio but after looking through some forum message, there is a bit of confusion on my part. Somebody mentioned turning off Transcoding for a specific file, I don't see a way to do that. Also how do you have a different Transcoding Profile? I see none of this in the console.

You can turn transcoding off by either selecting the Generic DLNA profile (this profile doesn't include transcoding) or turn it off in Serviio Console (Delivery tab from memory).

So turning off transcoding would be setting it to what? There is no setting for Off.

On the Delivery, Transcoding tab there is a tick box labelled "Enable Transcoding". Untick it and press Save.

tried to playing with settings in online transcoding section of profiles... ignored in 1.4 ?

Not afaik. What is it that you are trying to do/fix?

my mistake. works ok, but stream that I watch online changed from rtmp to rtsp so I needed to add rtsp line to online section of profile... works ok.
