Certain files names as Roast Beef and Movies

Hi All

Strange issue with MY LG TV and android based media player showing certain files names as "Roast Beef and Movies"

These files do play but it does not show the correct movie names. I can see them actual file names if i browse by folder but when i view it by movies it displays as these names.

Any clues here?

Re: Certain files names as Roast Beef and Movies

Had to look this one up - Roast-Beef and Movies is a valid movie released in 1934.

What is happening is that Serviio is wrongly matching the file name for these files to the metadata for this movie in the movie database (http://www.themoviedb.org/). To overcome this, either:
  1. Rename the files to something that doesn't match this movie (if these are movies that you want to match to on-line metadata then rename them to something that allows Serviio to match to the proper metadata title - see http://www.serviio.org/component/conten ... extraction); or
  2. Turn off metadata data searching for this folder (in Serviio Console, Library tab remove the tick for "Retrieve descriptive metadata" for the folder). This is usually what you need to do if they are home movies or the like.
