WD Live TV Plus Subtitles Issue with 1.3 version

Hi I had version 1.2.1 and i was having some issues trying to get the devices discoverd but everything worked fine after everything was detected now that i have updated to 1.3 the discovery has been improvement and also the refresh but none of the srt files are being detected when i play the videos o my wd tv live plus, it is just playing embebed subtitles not taking the srt files on the directory this is happening just with my wd tv live plus, when i try with my Samsung TV, everything works fine.

Im suing serviio 1.3 on a mountain lions macmini computer.

Any help will be appreciated.

Do you have the wdtv profile selected?

yes, also tried generic profile and samsung one as the tv is working fine none is detecting srt files.

Can you try to install 1.2.1 (possibly a different PC) to see if this files works with it? From the log it looks fine.

don't have another computer, downloaded and installed 1.2.1 and the subtitles works again but i got the same problem that devices are not being recognized and takes like 10min which its solved for me on 1.3

Could you do this (first with 1.2.1 and then with 1.3)?

1. Install Intel UPnP tools (link in my signature)
2. run AV Media Controller (AVMC)
3. go to Serviio Console, find the IP address of the PC you're running the AVMC on and assign it WDTV Live profile
4. restart AVMC
5. Find Serviio server and browse to the file with subtitles.
6. Right-click -> properties
7. There should be a number of resources, one of them the subtitles file. Select it and post here the image with the resource's properties

I'll compare if there are any differences between the 2.

im sorry but how do you install the first step dont see an installer for osx i download the zip and under tools cant see either avmc

Was able to get a windows computer and do it.

on 1.3 there is no resource for the srt with 1.2.1 it is. attaching screens

What if you remove this line from the WDTV profile and restart the service / pc?

where is this line located? do you want me to perform this on the mac suppose with 1.3 and restart both service on 1.3 and the profile on the av media controller?

On Mac, you have to right-click on Serviio.app and browse contents to find the file.

Then just try to play the file via wdtv

we got a big storm here and i have been 2 days without electricity i will reply you as soon as i get it back with my findings

On AV Media controller the resource for the srt is available, but on the device it just shows the embebed subtitles not the srt option.
