Exactly what i needed
First off, cheers for an awesome app. Was trying out several other apps before i found Serviio and its exactly what i was looking for.
I spend a lot of time at work and there are often periods when i havent got anything to do but kill time and wait till work comes my way (just the nature of my job).
So i was looking to an app that would bring my media collection to me via web and this is exactly what i need. Now i have my media delivered to me, be it either via web or mobile.
Most of items on my wishlist are already crossed out; streaming to web, access via my mobile, making the media watchable in any environment (adjusting the quality via transcoding),etc. The only piece of the puzzle i am still missing is a bit more improved mediabrowser experience, lifting the experience from "having your media available anywhere you go" to "having a media center on the go". By that i mean pushing the slider about 10% towards the look my xbmc gives me at home. This too will be solved in the future with slightly improved templates, so im a happy camper.
