Not Working With Sony BD Player
Uisng a PC connection through a 10/100 ethernet server provided by Talk Talk as part of their fibre service.
Downloaded a few MKV video files, but none of them play correctly via the BD player.
The play fine on my PC, but continually drop out the sound and make the picture blocky with large patches of colour.
It's almost as if the software is not fast enough to cope wiht the data stream, but at 100Mbps connection and 33Mb from the disk, this cannot be the case. I am beginning the suspect the ffmpg player is not up to the task.
Can anyone let me know how I can check the signal routing path with a known working file?
By the way, also tried Nero MediaHome. Couldn't even get the bloated software to load and run - too busy trying to tie in with Nero.
Still to try with MediaPlayer in XP 32 bit.
Are there any similar products you can recommend to try as the DLNA server should be simple.
