disconnection issue with sony s570

No worries. I don't think there is any way to change the s570's ability to receive a stream, I am not aware of any time limitations on it anyway.

You might want to see if you have the most recent revision of the firmware for it. Might also want to see if there is a support forum or contact email that you can let them know there is a problem, so they can work on it.

firmware is up to date. I don't understand what could be the issue as the connect to the bluray player itself is uninterrupted and it only happens after about an hour of playback.

I can only think it has something to do with the length of the playback, but what I have no idea.

Yeah, I'll give it a go.

bit of an update.

I had to remux a film due to multi-languages interfering with playback, used tsMuxeR and found that the remuxed .ts file plays right through, no interruptions at all. So I can only surmise that it is an issue with .mkv files for some reason and not the actual connection.
