Re: Total Begginer
Thanks, the reason I am doing this is to see Serviio in the menu of my Sony BDP S770 and select movies via it which are stored on my Synology DS211J nas (films purchased via iTunes).
It is my understanding that once the software is saved to my computer I go to the Library section and selct the folder on the NAs but when I check on the Sony all the folders are empty?

Re: Total Begginer
Yes have been through faq but I just do not understand why the video files stored on the NAS do not seem to be loading on to Serviio
Re: Total Begginer
probably because Serviio service runs with a user that has no access rights to the external drive. There is a lot of discussion about this on the forum.
