MediaBrowser doesn't play

I have just bought Pro, after using Serviio free for years, because now I need to play from outside.

Both LAN and WAN see the folders and files in MediaBrowser (all correct in router ports, alias, ssl...) , but when you try to play, it doesn't do anything. Tried with Firefox, Chrome, Windows and Android.

As server I use an Arm19 Qnap NAS without problems at all until now.

I have tried transcoding, without transcoding...

Any clue? Thanks.

Re: MediaBrowser doesn't play

Are you certain you don't have a browser plug-in that is blocking video playback? I have a couple of plug-ins that stop videos from auto-playback, and it does interfere with MediaBrowser. That said, I can usually get it to play after clicking the playback window multiple times. The number seems to vary with no consistent attempts to begin.

I have tried with Firefox, Chrome, Opera in Windows and Android, with all plugins off, and in private tabs. Same result. Click play icon, black window, and that way forever. Firewall disabled too. Folder permissions, Servio user... all checked.

Thanks

Re: MediaBrowser doesn't play

I just tried MediaBrowser on my iPhone using Chrome and my Windows 11 laptop using Chrome and Brave, and it played on all. Using Brave it began playing immediately, but using Chrome on both devices it took several attempts because of my plug-ins. While I'm inside my firewall on my LAN, I doubt that would make any difference.

I have tried all with no result. I can access folders in media browser in my lan and remotely with no problem at all. But when I click "play", it doesn't do anything. Only some times it shows a "hlsjs-lite network error".
