how to stop subtitle

Hello everyone, i don't understand how to stop the subtitle to starting when i play a film/video, everytime i have to do manually, and put it on "off". im on a Mac (sure someone already answered my question but i can t find it).

Subtitles can be a pain, but in all cases but one it's controlled by the player, not by Serviio. The only way Serviio is forcing a subtitle to appear is if the "Enable burned-in subtitles" setting is enabled in the Serviio console under Delivery/Subtitles.
