Thanks Petr for a great "free" product

I wanted to thank the author of a software I use almost daily. It is the absolutely best media server for "Local" media. It is great the way it is.

I have no need for the features provided by the professional version. I am however purchasing that license to support you.

Perhaps other users feel the same, whether they can afford the license or not. It might be worth hearing from them in this thread.

Thanks again!

I have tried several others, and Serviio is the most reliable and the most efficient, by far. I especially appreciate having the two APIs.

Re: Thanks Petr for a great "free" product

I wholeheartedly agree with the OP. I've been using Serviio for years, since not long after it appeared, and while I've tried a good number of other servers none of them has come close. The free version would do me just fine, but through the years I've paid for the Pro version twice to show my appreciation for an excellent product which could so easily cost more.
