App for Android TV

I love serviio and am a registered user but one thing that sorely lacking is a Android TV compatible app. The current android app is next to impossible to use on Android TV. Can the dev please consider this request?

Android based TVs should have DLNA compatibility by default. But you can also install VLC or perhaps Kodi and use them as your player. My Shield players are Android based, and I use Kodi on them. I don't have an actual Android based TV, but there shouldn't be any issues using Serviio with them.

The Serviio developer does not create any apps or other add-ons. These are all third party applications. Frankly, I doubt he has time to even consider writing anything other than Serviio itself.

Dont know if this has been mentioned here before.
But i use the serviigo apk and installs it on google tv and it works great. I use vlc for video player and it works good
