TV series in mediabrowser

hi all,
i have a problem with the visualization of tv series in mediabrowser.
If i put some episodies of tv series in a general folder they are not displayed in mediabrowser.
if i put them in a folder named as the series they are displayed.
i have to create a folder for each tv series?
thanks a lot

Re: TV series in mediabrowser

No, you don't have to create a folder for each series, but it could help. I keep most (but not all) of my series in a separate folder by name. The most important issue is the way the files are named. For a series, you need to follow the correct format listed here: http://www.serviio.org/index.php?option ... icle&id=12

Sometimes a TV series can be difficult if the name is used more than once. For example, Hawaii 5-0 was a series back in the 70s, and there was a remake in the 90s or so. Since I have episodes from the original, Serviio was getting confused between the two. I had to change the 0 (zero) to an O (capital letter).
