start from begining not resume

how do i restart a movie from the begining? everytime i play a movie or video file it starts where i left off last time. thats nice but how do i start at the begining?

Its usually a setting on the TV. My Samsung asks if I want to start over or resume. Serviio just sends what the TV asks for.

My set doesn't ask me, but I can open the transport menu on the TV (usually by pressing the OK button) and hit the button to the left of Rewind. If it has a label, it might say last track. That brings you back to the beginning.

My Sony and Roku players always play from the beginning. Sometimes I wish they gave me the option!

well i went back to 1.5 and itjust starts at the begining. i have a samsung tv and i cant see anything in the tv player to start at the begining

If it is the new Samsung ...J series?... There are problems with getting it to work. See other Posts under Samsung and post your model and a debug log showing a file being played back.

As I said, there's no Samsung "menu" option to play from the beginning. I use the last track button after playback starts to move back to the beginning. It was that way on the HU8550 I had and with my current JU7100.
