No sound through soundbar

I am running a Samsung TV and so far have had no issues. Videos work fine, subs work fine, sound works fine through TV speakers.

Today I hooked up a soundbar to my TV and I cannot get audio to play through it from Serviio. Soundbar works fine for everything else like my cable, game console, chromecast, etc. but Serviio seems to only like the built in TV speakers. Is there something I am missing here because I am out of ideas on how to fix this.

and nevermind... I fixed it sort of. So it won't play through the optical audio but it will play through RCA. so while annoying at least I can still use it without resorting to the TV speakers

That's very odd. My Samsung will play Serviio via both ARC and optical. Glad you found a resolution.
