Hello,
I have installed serviio on linux (ubuntu 10.04), it's well recognized by my Sony BDP S470, I can see all the directories, and all video files, but I can't see MP3 files, it says 'no readable files' (i think it's the correct translation in english, in french : 'il n'y a pas de fichier lisibles')

I can't also read read an mkv file, it says the file is corrupted, I didn't make any change in the profile.xml.
I've tried mkvinfo on this file, there is no compression.

Your are on Linux system, please read http://www.serviio.org/download
Use this http://download.serviio.org/opensource/ ... 303.tar.gz
You also need Lame MP3 Encode http://download.serviio.org/opensource/ ... 8-2.tar.gz

Do you select the proper section in the Sony Xbar Menu: Video for video, Music for Audio, Photo for Images (on the next 0.6 release this will be resolved)?

Could you post MediaInfo result (see signature link)?

I tried to install ffmpeg and lame with your source but nothing change ... I still have no files under my folder "music".
