Sorry if this has already been asked before or has been resolved already and I've missed it...

But I'm having an issue with streaming MKV format videos to my Xbox One. No matter what I do, I can't seem to get MKVs to have the FF/RW ability. It's either play, pause or stop... This is very frustrating! Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this issue? I don't have any problems playing MP4s or other types of media...

Here is what I am thinking. I would like to use the MKVs for Minimalists on Windows 7 but only Step 2 and Step 3, I dont need FFDshow unless I have to use it to make Step 2 and 3 work. Has anybody tried this and does it work?

Do me a favor. Find a profile that will play the MKV and Fastforward/Rewind. If none of them do let me know that also. I will see if I can help tweak it for u
