transcoding via Mediabrowser - setup question

Hello,
I am new to this forum. I use DVBViewer Recording Service to record movies. I run an IP tunnel between the location of the server and my 2nd home.
I would like to stream Videos from the server to a pc or ipad via this 4mbit tunnel.
DVBVrecording service has bugs streaming videos at higher framerates because they use flowplayer on the client side. It works only for 15 minutes but the quality (ffmpeg) is amazing.

Now I installed Serviio to overcome this problem. Servio works already very well with my ipad Air2. It does also work with my windows pc but the quality I get with medium settings is not ok.
There are a lot of block artefacts. With original settings the picture is good but playback is frequently interrupted. When I monitor the data rate in the tunnel, I dont see a lot of traffic.
So I presume that the ffmpeg encoder settings could be modified to tune the streaming.

But my tests show that serviio is the right product and I am planning to licence it.

Now my question:

I know which profile settings work best in my setup from my tests with the recording service.
Is there a place where I can change the ffmpeg settings the Media browser is using ?

It's in application-profiles.xml , profile 'flv_player'

mike,

When you get everything set up do you mind sharing your settings? I would like to get rid of the artifacts as well.

Thank you.
