I'm streaming to an xbox 360.Many files, particularly ones with ac3 audio codec are constantly buffering/loading due to transcoding.I am aware of the problems Serviio has with the ac3 codec. That said, any tips on how to speed up this process so my videos don't lag so often? Also,What are the ideal settings for such transcoding? Thanks in advance!!!

transcoding also depends on the spec of the machine you are running it on, if you have a slow machine doing it the transcoding will not be very fast. Could you post the spec of the machine that's hosting the serviio server?

Serviio doesn't have any specific problems with the AC3 codec. The Xbox on the other hand cannot play it, so your media is being transcoded to ASF containing WMV3 video with WMAV2 audio. Your Serviio machine probably isn't quite powerful enough to carry out this task in real time.
