New User experience.

Just downloaded the pro version yesterday and was able to get the .mp4 video collection on Nexus 7 and Aquos Tv. It literally was a piece of cake and congrats to the team that built this software.

Do have a few quirks with live feeds though. They will play on the Nexus but wont play on Aquos! So any ideas on that will be appreciated.

Also the third device Smp-N200 wont even recognize or see the Serviio server at all!! Not sure what the deal is there.

Total time spent on the setup around 4 hours.. Hopefully will be able to figure these things out before the 15 days and then plan on purchasing it, cause honestly its worth way more than the 25 bucks you charge.. :-)

Peace!!

Re: New User experience.

I know nobody gives a damn but I got everything working except for the Aquos Tv. It can play local media without a problem but when it comes to streaming live video, it craps out!!

Seems like that the built in software in Aquos does not wait long enough for the stream to load and it just exits out. Since streams take a little longer to show up, I wish there was some way to fix it!!

You probably dont want to hear this, but my experience with sharp aquos was none too good either. On the upside, they took care of me and gave me a full refund when I couldn't get their TV to play nice.

Re: New User experience.

Can't speak to the TV, but I have three SNP-N200 boxes and all work perfectly with my Serviio box. In fact I am extremely impressed with their performance. I have some ripped Blu-Rays that stream at over 50Mbps and the Sony boxes display perfectly.

I am assuming that you have no issues connecting the N200 to Internet assets. If so, can you ping the IP address on the N200 from your Serviio box (assuming you are running it from a PC, not a NAS box).
