Suddenly doesn't share every file

After I ran windows update (and updated other non-related programs) and rebooted, Serviio doesn't share every file it used to. It seems random which files are shared and less than approx 50% of the files are shared.

I have tried to Force refresh the library, but the episodes do not reappear.

What could make Serviio suddenly stop sharing only some of my media files (series especially)?

When I look at the same series but use the Folder way to the files, all files are still present and shared.

I see a lot of errors like this in the log file (name of series removed):

2013-01-12 14:16:03,176 WARN [LibraryManager] Cannot read metadata of file S:\Serier\xyz\xyz Season 08 - Complete [rl]\xyz 08x19 - The title.avi via extractor ONLINE_VIDEO_SOURCES. Message: Cannot retrieve series search results for tvdb.com: Read timed out

This error apparently flags the file as "bad". How do I reset that flag for all files? The server must have been busy since it could not answer my client for all requests.

Sorry, should be in another forum. Please move it. :-/

I have now removed the S:\Serier path and added it again. I guess that was the only way to fix this (force refresh did nothing except consume cpu for a few seconds, even with update currently shared files). I hope this error doesn't show itself anytime soon again because rescanning the whole library looks to take 20-30 hours it seems. Waste of electricity. :-(

Having only completed 1 series so far, Serviio fails to gather info for a lot of files, information it managed to get previously. I don't know which server it connects to, but it is certainly not a reliable one.

Please make "Force refresh" be able to reindex previously failed files. Redoing from scratch isn't really a good way to do it.

I really need help with this. Now I notice Serviio completely fails giving the correct titles any episode of American Dad season 2, e.g.:

2013-01-12 23:28:31,407 INFO [LibraryAdditionsCheckerThread] Added file 'American Dad.S02E01.Camp Refoogee.avi' (title: Bullocks to Stan) to Library

Serviio only managed to find hits for 5 out of 538 files in the series The Simpsons. That is just 1% it managed to index! How does Serviio ensure that these missing files can be updated later?

Unfortunately thetvdb.com is having issues lately. The files are still added, but you have to get to them via the Folders category. To try fimd the metadata again you have to click Refresh video metadata button.

That would explain it nicely. The button you are referring to is the "Rescan video metadata" button, right?
