Issue with changing IP address

Hi All,
Can I start by stating what a wonderful piece of software I think Serviio is. It works really well and i'm always impressed by the way it knows how to put things into series/movie categories etc. My mrs also loves the way in which it allows you to push youtube videos up to the big screen since a friend of ours posted our wedding video snippit up there.
I have it installed on a laptop and it comes with me to various locations (this is great as it means I have a portable media server so I can playback stuff through friends xboxes etc). The only issue I have is that I generally put my laptop to sleep rather than shutting down. When I wake up on another network, Serviio appears to be offline until you either completely reboot Serviio (console and server) or the laptop. I think it may have something to do with the laptop aquiring different IP addresses at different locations and Serviio not resetting to this new IP. Serviio seems to be able to see the devices on the network, just not the other way round. It is not an issue that I see with Tversity which appears immediately (I was using this previous to finding Serviio and haven't got round to uninstalling it).
This is by no means a criticism of this wonderful piece of software, I just hope this small bug could be fixed to make my user experience even better

you might be right. It might also just take about 10 minutes before it advertises itself again. can you give that a try?

I will on the weekend, sadly have to work away during the week.
I know it's a small thing it's just the only thing that frustrates me with Serviio and where Tversity is slightly better (it always seems to be readily available). Is it possible to change the advertising period or is it something that Tveristy does differently?

they may do it in shorter periods or they may resend the advertisement once the OS wakes up, which Serviio doesn't specifically target

Hi there,
Right I'm back home, been home for 2 hours yet Serviio is not active on my Sony. The TV had a red dot next to it and would not change when refreshed. I started and stopped the server from within the console and the TV entry went green but has still not appeared on the telly. When I shut down serviio completely and reboot it starts working again. Tversity was displaying pretty much when I turned the telly on. I hope this is something you may be able to look at in the future. Thanks again for a wonderful project.
