Hello all,

Tried to use online content streaming for the first time in a while. Nothing appears in the listings. I see this error below over and over in the logs.

2012-05-28 23:24:06,562 WARN [EventDispatcher] Couldn't send event message for subscription c2324d26-ae5c-4c45-ad3c-02384b6c4183, will keep trying until subscription expires

I tried restarting Serviio service but it couldn't stop it, I had to kill the process in Task Manager.

I've uninstalled, cleaned up then reinstalled Serviio 0.6.2 from scratch, same problems.

Audio/Video/RSS/Web resource - everything doesn't work. Streaming vids/audio from normal local folders works fine.
Running Win XP, SP3.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Sounds like it never worked, not that it stopped working. Read the wiki entries and post the suggested info if it does not work.

Thanks jhb50, will try these tonight.

However it has worked in the past, used it to stream radio and video no problem. I've reduced to the feeds to a handful of 4 on demand links and some Radio streaming URLs. I've got the 4OD plugin installed also. Set up as Web resource correctly. This has worked in the past so I can only think that something has changed at the 4OD end? Although why that would block the radio links I don't know.

Update - fixed. Uninstalled Serviio and then all Java JDK/JRE's. Installed the latest Java 6 JDK and re-installed Serviio. All working perfectly again. Must have been a java issue, I did have several versions installed (legacy installs). A cleanup seems to have fixed the problem.

Thanks all for help. Loving Serviio still!

So odd that Java doesn't "clean up" after itself when updating ... I have seen computers with more than 3 versions of Java ... glad the plm was fixed.
