Serviio on ReadyNas Pro 6

Had loads of problems with the stock ReadyDLNA and looked for an alternative.
Found Serviio, installed it on my Pro 6 and it has been working brilliantly now for several months.
Note that you will need Java 6 installed and I believe this is only available for x86 ReadyNAS machines.
You will also need a full feature ffmpeg. In the end I built my own. If you need an ffmpeg for x86 ReadyNas for serviio, contact me.

can u do me a full howto and send a copy of the ffmpeg build please then i can add it to our wiki. :)

thanks, as i don't own most of these devices (would cost me a fortune) i am unable to do the guides myself so user help is always appreciated :)

Phil,

I can't seem to find instructions for ReadyNas installation on the Wiki. Do you still have plans to update the Wiki accordingly?
