serviio with PS3: amazing!

Hi,

I'm running the serviio in a HP Pavilion laptop DV5000 series with Core Duo (Ubuntu). The video files are hosted in a FreeNAS server (wired) and the PS3 is receiving the stream from the laptop over the wi-fi. I have to say that the performance is amazing! Much better than the PS3 Media Server that I have been trying to make work without good results (poor video quality, crashes, unstable behavior, etc.). Serviio is able to serve HD (not sure if Full HD but at least HD) over the wi-fi, that is incredible!

Congratulations for your great work, hope you implement subtitles, that is all I need now!

Cheers!

I have to agree, I also tried ps3ms first and now that I've seen serviio, I'm blown away by the performance. And the ease of use. Also, count my vote for subtitle support, too!

Re: serviio with PS3: amazing!

How to transfer a saved file from one PS3 to another without problems? I am trying to transfer a saved file from my game from one PS3 to another via a USB. While the file itself has no problem and loads on the second PS3 effectly, the PS3 says that saved file does not belong to you therefore you can only play on it but cannot save over it OR save it as another file on the new PS3. Any way to solve this problem? Please help. Thanks!
