Posted: Sat Sep 06, 2014 8:06 amI run my Serviio on a little Atom D510 server, and watch a lot of downloaded documentaries on a Samsung D5000. Works fine, I do have a few questions but I will ask those elsewhere. I am quite savvy with computers, but I had a hard time finding the right combination of hardware and software to get my video collection on the screen. Once I found Serviio I never looked back at Windows Media Server, Plex and whatever rotten stuff I tried out. I am very happy for a few years now.
The real praise, however, is that a friend of mine got it running too. He is as thick as a brick when it comes to computers, and I only gave him the link to your site. I didn't help him at all, and he was as proud as a peacock when he managed to get Serviio running all by himself. His comment: "that was actually quite easy!".
