Servio with bugs sounds school project, looking alternative

installed servio on win XP 64. Added local path of videos and images through console. All The videos are of same codec h264 .mp4. Added around 10 directories. my panasonic viera plasma 42 can see with DLNA all directories however some directories shows blank even though contains .mp4 video files. The directories that are non blank can play all the videos and see all the videos in that directory. I am going in details for the serviio support or technical team.
Conclusion : not a best software but as a school project looks ok. I AM LOOKING FOR AN ALTERNATIVE WHERE ALL DIRECTORIES LISTED IN DLNA SHOULD SEE ALL THE CONTENTS AND PLAY ACCORDINGLY.

Thanks for Zip (Serviio creator) student...

Are you sure that library build process was finished ? ( directories scan process)

Are you sure that there were no "strange" charaters on video files name ? (enable detailed logging, force library refresh and post log here)

Could you provide some information about videos that are on blank directorie? (see signature link)

Conclusion : not a best software but as a school project looks ok.

....and you've drawn this conclusion before seeking any assistance, or seemingly spending any time exploring what might be causing the issue. If you want support you have an interesting approach to asking for it. If you are simply commenting, then the comment lacks foundation and therefore any credibility.

If you do indeed want to explore this further you need to provide some more information. What type of TV have you got (model), what renderer profile have you selected, details of a file that does play, and details of one that does not (mediaInfo details - see viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4510) and the name of the folders that are not being seen. Note also, not all mp4 files are the same - they can support different video and audio codecs for starters.

EDIT: posted at same time as Illico, hence covering much of the same.
