ServiioService excessive CPU utlization

I have an 8 core I7 system. Serviio is just idleing (see log) but ServiioService.exe is utilizing a steady 25% of my CPU which is excessive.

First question is why?

Second question is how can I pause Serviio rather than having to stop the Service which causes all the plugins to be refreshed when the Service is restarted?

i was sick and tired of serviio online resourses cache / plugin refresh issues. so to avoid it i have switched to Universal Media Server (clone of PS3 MS.) yes, it doesn't have fancy UI as serviio has. and it is a bit less intelligent in transcoding. but UMS starts in a few seconds and instantly provides fresh online content. its channel language is a bit simplistic but scraping of a lot of U.S. web sites is already covered with hierarchical folders (which serviio 1.0 not able to do.)

Re: ServiioService excessive CPU utlization

I had the same issue when i upgraded, on my NAS it was taking up 100% CPU without the java process stopping for some reason.

Fixed it by fresh clean install and everything running cool
Sony Bravia 2010 52NX803 - Sony PS3 - Xbox 360
Serviio running on QNAP NAS 639 Pro - 1.6 Intel Dual Core - 2GB RAM and QNAP NAS 121 - 2Ghz ARM Marvell - 1GB RAM
Console using ServiiDroid for Android, ServiiMetro and ServiiWP for Windows Phone and WebUI for iOS
