Thanks to Devs! 0.5.2 is now my choice of media server.
Just registered to say thank you to the developers of this project.
I have been trying MANY UPNP/DLNA servers for a couple years now.
Including Tversity, XBMC (windows Directx and OpenGL version), MeiaPortal, etc...
Serviio is the first one that JUST WORKED right out of the "box".
I am using XBMC 10.x on an old 1.6Ghz Pentium and on a new/reconditioned Samsung C5500 blue ray player as DLNA rendering points.
I also use XBMC on my laptop over WiFi as a render point.
I am using another 1.6Ghz Pentium as the Serviio server with an attached USB2.x external drive for media storage.
Serviio has worked perfectly and performance has been great across my LAN including WiFi.
