Indexing partially downloaded files

Hi

I'm having an issue with my Serviio installation.

I'm indexing my video folder, and periodically, I download new files directly into that folder.
The downloading takes a few minutes and sometimes Serviio refreshes the content before the download is finished.

The result is that let's say, for a new video that has a duration of 45 minutes, Serviio indexes is as having a duration of 10 or 15 minutes (depending on how much has downloaded).
After that, the video only plays on my TV up to those minutes that have been indexed.

The only way around this that I have found so far is, once the download is complete, move it to a different folder in the structure, and force a refresh.

Is there a way to tell Serviio to look at file sizes, additionally to looking for new files only?

Thanks
Ale

I have one question - will serviio reindex the file once it is completely downloaded? This would make the issue irrelevant.

Well, apparently it doesn't. As far as I know, it looks at filenames, so you need to move it somewhere else, or change the name if you want it rescaned.

I see an option in the android app for metadata rescan, which will probably work, but I don't want to rescan the full video files for metadata again, since that can take a while.

For the moment I've done a quick script to download my files in some tmp folder out of the serviio scan folder, and once it's finished it's moved to it's final destination, and fully indexed then.

Not ideal for me, but an acceptable workaround.
