Mediabrowser opens up but no files. All blank.

I'm running Serviio on a Windows 10 machine. I have the Pro version. I've setup port forwarding and can get Mediabrowser to show up on my iphone after I login. I have the shared files (all are music files - MP3, FLAC and DSF) in shared folders.

When I open up Mediabrowser, I can see the buttons, but when I click on them and try to go to my shared folders, everything's blank. Nothing shows up. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Re: Mediabrowser opens up but no files. All blank.

Starting with Serviio version 2.0, you must assign a user permission to access each of your shared library locations or nothing appears in MB. If you assign a user to a specific player on your network you will encounter the same issue.

To assign the user permission, open the Serviio console, open each Library/shared folder settings page (assuming you have more than one, each one needs the permission assigned) and you will see "Users with access" and a list of all user names you have created. Check the box for the user to have access to that shared folder and save the settings. Do the same for any other shared folders you have.

Thank you for the instructions. They worked! I went into edit mode for each shared folder in Serviio and checked the box for my user in each one and voila!
