What file do I need to edit? What software works best to edit it (aka, witch computer should I use). I need to remind my grandkids what days Serviio will be offline for maintenance. Figured I could replace the tip quote with operation times. Thank in advance for the help. Brian

It's probably buried within one of the jar files. Serviio is written in Java, so that's likely where the screen code is located. As to which file, and the best way to alter it, I have no idea. Back when I tried to learn Java (and didn't get very far) I tried the Eclipse development package. I have no idea if it still even exists, or if a better program exists. If Eclipse is still around, I believe it was available for Windows, MacOS and Linux.

Thanks Dan, I'll see if I can pop the hood and take a look. My last experience with JAVA was 1998 and I wrote a shopping cart using notepad / edline. Brian : ((humblebrag goes here))
