Metadata Priority seems to not work.

I have Serviio Pro v 2.2.1. Metadata by priority seems to not work as described here: https://serviio.org/index.php?option=co ... icle&id=12
Most of my files are found in imdb, but a few are not. I have provided .nfo files for them. The .nfo files are not processed. However, if I change the option on the Metadata tab from "Online metadata sources" to "XBMC .nfo files" my .nfo files are processed, but all the metadata from imdb is lost.

Does the priority based extraction need to be turned on somewhere?

It's not a priority setting. It's a single selection, so if you use online metadata, it will not read .nfo files at all. As to the title not being found, I answered that question in your other post.

Having a priority, such as using an .nfo file if no online metadata is found, seems like a good idea. You might consider adding that request in the Bitbucket for Serviio. https://bitbucket.org/xnejp03/serviio/issues

According to the documentation (the link I posted) multiple sources *can* be used with priority, it just doesn't seem to really exist.

Between the 2 issues, the 8 digit ID's and files that aren't in imdb at all, I have about 50 files that don't match. That is after 1 pass of my manually renaming many of my 2000 files to try and make them match. I could make another pass at that, but I am sure that while I might fix a few, some will remain.

I'll create 2 bitbucket requests.

After all these years, I had never noticed that. But other than some test files (that I keep in a separate folder with metadata disabled) I've been able to get the accurate metadata from online sources.
