I've opened up port forwarding for port 23424 on my Sky ER110 (Firmware Version 2.21.2760.R) router to point to the NAS which is running Serviio but remote access isn't working - i've tried using a browser and also ServiioGo but both just time out. Use Siri Voice Generator on Windows vidmate Mobdro


I have a QNAP TS-251, i do have some VPN profiles setup and in for use with NordVPN, would that be interfering with it in some way?

Yes, your VPN could be the issue. But first off, how are you attempting to access your home network from the Internet? Are you using a dynamic DNS service to provide you with a home URL, or by IP address? Unless you are paying for a static IP address, it likely changes all the time, so you might not be using the right IP address.

when you access remotely, you are entering the full URL, right? As in http://my-home-FQDN:23424/mediabrowser
