Remote access issue!!

Hi,

I've opened up port forwarding for port 23424 on my Sky ER110 (Firmware Version 2.21.2760.R) router to point to the NAS which is running Serviio but remote access isn't working - i've tried using a browser and also ServiioGo but both just time out. Use Siri Voice Generator on Windows vidmate Mobdro


I have a QNAP TS-251, i do have some VPN profiles setup and in for use with NordVPN, would that be interfering with it in some way?

Yes, VPN use could be a possible issue.

Also, how are you determining your public IP address? Do you have a static public IP, or are you using some sort of dynamic DNS service? I use the latter, as a static public IP isn't available for residential use. And if you don't have one or the other, you won't know how to connect to your home network from the Internet. Timing out attempting to reach your router does seem to imply you aren't connecting to the correct IP address.
