Serviio

install serviio 2 on mac pro with Mojave. when started keeps getting "cannot connect to server.It doesn't seem to be running..." .Have uninstalled and deleted all serviio files,restarted and reinstalled .Nothing seems to help. What to do??

I'm unfamiliar with a Mac, but I believe we would need to see a Serviio log to see if it's actually running. Perhaps there's some sort of firewall that is blocking access, but first we need to know for sure if it's running or not. The log will show that.

Are you sure you uninstalled everything from a previous version? I always use app cleaner
https://freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/ to make sure that everything gets uninstalled.

I have serviio installed on Mojave and on Catalina beta4, they both work but in Catalina there are a few issues. One of the biggest issue is i can’t select a external harddrive, but i guess Serviio 2 wasn’t tested on Catalina before. I would like to have the source and see where the bottleneck is.
