Streams stop responding, service won't stop
Posted: Wed Apr 24, 2019 1:55 pmI am running Serviio on a Win 10 Pro VM running under Hyper-v on Server 2012. For the most part it works great. I have thousands of MP3s in my library, and dozens of streams - local radio stations, 181.fm stations, etc.
I am using it only for audio.
Occasionally the server seems to stop responding - I can't get at the streams (get an HTML5 error), and can't get at the MP3s.
The service can't be restarted from the Serviio console.
The service can't be stopped in Computer Management / Services.
So I go into Task Manager. Today I'm seeing two Serviio.exe processes running. One has a single line item, and the second has a drop down with a second line item. I killed the first on the list (end task) and both disappeared.
I can now restart the service and the streams work again.
Task manager now shows the same two Serviio entries, including the one with the drop down.
Thoughts?
