Serviio

Hi. I've made couple of searches before making this topic but none of them were able to find a solution. I am not even sure if there's any though.

Now my problem is that I don't want serviio to run automatically at windows startup. I am not talking about console itself, i am talking about "server status running" . Before shutting the pc down, I stopped the server there. However, As soon as the windows restarts, "server status running" automatically again.

If I want to disable or modify it on services.msg, then the application itself (I think you call it 'console') won't start and giving some kind of error.

All I want to do is starting and stopping server when I want. is there a solution for this ?

It can't be done via the console. The console only controls the DLNA server itself, but the Serviio service remains running. To truly stop Serviio from starting on boot, and assuming you are talking about Windows, you have to change the Serviio service startup type from Automatic to Manual. That is done in the Services applet. When the Serviio service isn't running, you won't be able to start the console, so you will have to manually start the service.

Then I will have to let it run. OK, it seems like there is nothing to do.
