Serviio

I was following the instructions of this post (http://wiki.serviio.org/doku.php?id=how ... all:ubuntu) when i got to step 3, i followed what it said and created a script. It says "Permission Denied" I am an administrator on the account, Do i have to be a higher rank, if so, how do i do it? I have the latest version of Serviio and the latest version of Lubuntu

The instructions you linked to are for a version of ubuntu thats seven years old. If your using a version of ubuntu a bit newer (anything from the last 2 or 3 years), you need a systemd start up script . See this page http://forum.serviio.org/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=71&start=60
