Serviio - Windows 10 Problems

Hello,

after serveral days of searching and doing, I don't know what to do. Here is my problem:

Since updating the PC to Windows 10 Serviio works, but no TV/UPNP Client finds the Serviio-PC anymore. On Windows 8.1 it worked perfect.
I also tried other DLNA-Server like Serviio with Windows 10 - Other PCs can access but no TV can find it.

What I've checked:
- Serviio is running, also the Service is running well. On Console and Windows Service Tab, anything looks good.
- Other PCs can find Serviio on network and access everything but no other TV/UPNP/DLNA-Client

What I've done:
- Reinstall Serviio, also installed it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\"
- Deactivated Kaspersky Internet Security completely
- I can not change internal Windows 10 Firewall settings, because Kaspersky is managing it, say's Windows 10
- Set Local Network in Kaspersky to Trusted Zone.

I read many threads of this and similar problems and nothing worked well. But yesterday Serviio has been found for a few minutes on TV and everything worked well. I can't reproduce this and I don't know why this worked and why it doesn't work now. I did not restart the PC since it only turned off TV and when I turned TV on, no media sources can be found.

Maybe it's interesting:
Web Access works also well "http://<pc5dczc_pc_ip_address>:23424/mediabrowser".

Only the DLNA/UPNP does not work. Maybe a port is been blocked, but I did not find any program to "PING" the ports. Well, everything worked fine with Windows 8.1. I even tried a clean install of Windows 10, didn't help at all.

Has anyone an Idea how to solve this problem?

Re: Serviio - Windows 10 Problems

It certainly does sound like a firewall issue. I'm wondering if Kaspersky is still blocking something via Windows Firewall, even though you've disabled Kaspersky.

In the Serviio console, make sure the IP address that appears in the Network Settings (status tab) is the actual IP address of the computer. I suggest either a static IP or configuring an address reservation in whatever device on your network is assigning IP addresses. I'm sure you've rebooted the computer, so that isn't likely an issue, but worth checking.

I run Windows 10 with no issues. I only use the Windows firewall, so no experience with other products.

Re: Serviio - Windows 10 Problems

Thank you for your reply,

I reinstalled Windows 10 and before I installed anything else, I've deactivated the Windows Firewall, no Kaspersky was installed. The Computer always has the same static IPv4 address.

Serviio was still not found by any media device, only PCs find the DLNA of Serviio. So I tried a tip I saw in the internet:
"Change the Name of the Computer, because some media device don't update access data or something like that".

Changing the Computer name worked fine, but only for about 20 minutes, then the stream on the media device suddenly broke up and the device can't find the Serviio Server anymore. This seems to be a strange problem, because not firewall was installed and the on board firewall was deactivated.

In Serviio settings I changed the network settings from automatic detected to the only choseable point with complies with the fixed IP address. But this also didn't work at all.

I uploaded a netstat file, maybe the may help to find out the problem. The Computer is called "DESKTOPPC".

A Apache Webserver is running on thie computer and a VNC Programm to remote control this computer.

Has anyone an idea?
