I would like to remove two folder images on first page after login from web browser/server. These being "Audio" and "Image".
I am using Serviio pro v 1.4.1.2 osx 10.6.8 If you could direct me, if this would be possible and how. Thanks, nic.

I have both the audio and photos disabled and yes they show nothing when you click on them. But my quistion is how to make them gone of the screen this only disables the function of them but still showing them. I also would like to remove some of the option in video as well. Disabling does not make them disapear just disables them as a funtion. For some of the video option you may click on you may not get all the vidios and I have found that the folder seems to be the best. But for some of my users it is confusing for them and I know this as well. Thats why I would more want them gone instead of just disabling there function.
I have noticed this feature was not ever really a favorite of mine from day one, but everything has been working really well since you updated and did what ever you did to make all videos play without a glitch. That was great, so I ignored the other part for a really long time but wanted to really get it stream lined a bit.
Thanks and see if you have a idea to do this, dom.

Are you certain you clicked the save button after changing the settings> I have video and audio enabled, and those are the only two that appear in Media Browser. Photos is not shown.

"Mediabrowser uses the Presentation settings (Display and Disabled only)" - feature added in Version 1.5 onward
You need to upgrade your Serviio version to get this to work.

OSX 10.6.8. 1.5 can't find the actual download and is it good for 10.6.8?

Not sure but I think you needed 10.8 minimum for version 1.5 onward.

Do you know where the 1.5 download is to see if will work or I can think about updating, or maybe changing my server to another machine. New systems kinda bite.

You can go to the download page, see what the URL is for the latest version, then change the URL to match the version number you are looking for.
It just occurred to me that I believe version 1.5 is the first version that the presentation settings were effective for Media Browser. I think that's the version that it first worked with.

No go with finding 1.5, just release notes.
Had another idea how to do this. Ya I thought I would just imbed the the source code to my web page and take out what I didn't want. Easy enough, not so fast. I have imbedded
many pages with or without java script. Nothing shows up. Its always a catch with this video server from day one. Stuff wouldn't play, then you wanted me to run so many commands just to see what was built wrong. This is like, it all takes forever just to do ONE thing. Ya take out two file images, its a joke!!!
