1.6 on Windows only lists file in the last added folder

Hi,

Hopefully someone can help.

I am running 1.6 pro on a Windows 7 virtual machine with all my files on a Synology NAS.
The shared folders network path is referenced by the unc name (\\storage\xbox\files)
The serviio service is stated by the user that automatically logs onto the windows vm and this user has read only access to the unc share but is the local admin on the windows vm.

my two problems are as follows;
1) Only the "Folders" folder and the "Last added" display video files. Interestingly the Audio files show up in all the folders under audio.
2) The library only seems to update if I restart the serviio service.

My ServiioService.exe.vmoptions have the options;
-Xmx512m
-D serviio.forceLibraryPoller=true
-D serviio.libraryPollerFrequency=5

any help would be appreciated.

thanks
A

Re: 1.6 on Windows only lists file in the last added folder

there mustn't be a white space after -D

Also, the fact they don't show in any other categories means you're not using Descriptive metadata, or your files are not named so that the metadata can be found online.

Re: 1.6 on Windows only lists file in the last added folder

All the file use the, as I understand the correct format
for example my.series.S01E01.mkv

I reinstalled 1.6 and the folders are now showing the video files in the series (and other folders) hopefully the library will be updated automatically when new files are added.
