Why is it that under my devices it shows my PS3 almost 30 times? Will it stop running if I remove any of these and leave only one showing? It either shows my PS3 or an Unrecognized Device in the list. " Generic DNLA Profile ".........What is this?
My console version is 1.5.2 if that was going to be asked. First time poster and fairly new user.

If your PS3 gets a new IP address every time it starts, then Serviio sees it as a new player and adds it to the list. Or if you've used both Wi-Fi and Ethernet to connect, each connection will be listed.
Yes, you can remove them all and Serviio will add the current connection back in. In most routers you can add an IP address reservation so that your PS3 always gets the same IP address.
Serviio assigned the generic profile to any device if it doesn't find a match in the profiles list. I don't have a PS3, so don't know how it identities itself via DLNA. There is a PS3 profile, so it may be detected. Of course, there are some devices that just don't ID themselves correctly, so they don't get the correct profile assigned.
