Subtitles - strange facts

Hello,

First, I would like to say congrats! Serviio is the only one hwo can show subtitles on my Non SUpporting subtitle on DLNA TV. I have a Telefunken. Now, I would like to buy Serviio for my Synology NAS DS 115j. But I have problems with subtitles. So I have enabled subtitles. Let's say it is first time use of Serviio after a restart of server. I play movie X with subtitle X. It's working well. I try to play movie Y with subtitle Y but Serviio shows the subtitle for movie X. I don't know why.
I have enabled even "enable extraction of text-based subtitle embedded in video files" - not working. I even renamed the subtitle with Y_rum.srt (rum-romania). Nothing. Still subtitle of X movie. The "Enable burned-in subtitle" doesn't work for me, my NAS it's not that powerfull. And.. I can't even watch the intro :).
Anyway, does anyone have an ideea of what is the problem with the subtitle? Why if I play any movie the subtitle it's always of X movie?
I changed even the location of temp, in order to delete the files/log or something... But the temp folder is empty. I am new in NAS Synology and DLNA.

Thank you

enable detailed logging and try to play the file, you should see what subtitle file is being served

I can't enable detailed logging.
1. Because I don't know how.
I've got a Serviio folder in my "public" folder but I can't remember if that is the installation folder or the download folder.
And I don't know how to acces my Synology other folders where could serviio be installed.

Is there any way to acces the config folder from Serviio on Synology?

Thnks,

//EDIT ! - I succeded to enable detailed logging.
Later I will go home and check de the log to check what SRT subtitile is retreiving.

So,
I have opened the log.. seems like there is no request or something for subtitile.
But I still see the subtitle of other movie.
Let's say I want to watch Pay The Ghost and i see the subtitle from " Grandma" movie.
What could be wrong.. ?
Or what am I missing ?

I have enabled only "Enable subtitles" and this is what I get in log:

Seems like Serviio sees the external subtitle, from Pay the Ghost, but still, it shows the subtitle form Grandma.

Does anybody know how to resolve this ?

Seems like this page http://192.168.0.16:8895/resource/116/SUBTITLE.srt contains the subtitle. How can I acces the folder the change by hand the subtitle?!

that subtitles URL is generated and points to the proper file, right?

Maybe the TV is only looking at the last bit of the URL (SUBTITLE.srt) and because it never changes (the bits before that do) it assumes it's the same and uses a cached version.

We could maybe generate the URL to include a unique value in the future. IF you want that, create a bitbucket ticket and join the beta group to test this once it's ready.
