Mac OS X El Capitan - Accept incoming network connections

Serviio works great for me on my Mac (and with remote use). My 1 question: When Serviio Console first launches after I boot up my mac, it invariably sends me an alert asking “Do you want the application “Serviio-Console.app” to accept incoming network connections?” and I need to select Allow to dismiss the alert (and allow the connections).

I have a Firewall, but under Security & Privacy (in System Preferences), I have Serviio-Console.app set to “Allow incoming connections.”

Is there some other setting I need to make somewhere that will ensure that incoming connections are allowed and keep Serviio console from sending me the alert each time it launches? Thanks!

Is this with version 1.6?

No, it was on the prior version. I wasn’t aware of an update.

I just “liked” Serviio on Facebook and followed Serviio on Twitter. Is there any other way that I’d be notified of updates?

everyone will get their notifications that 1.6 is out in the console once I enable it. Doing a slow rollout for now.

I installed 1.6 and it shows that network settings will be automatically detected. There was no alert. I guess that 1.6 solves the issue I had. Thanks!
