Device profile for HISENSE LTDN42K680XWSEU (4K)

How is the process of changeing this into a description in profiles.xml? I took a look at it to try it by myself, but did not understand it.

Re: Device profile for HISENSE LTDN42K680XWSEU (4K)

Hi,

This should start you off, taking the first line http-get:*:audio/mpeg:DLNA.ORG_PN=MP3;DLNA.ORG_FLAGS=8D100000000000000000000000000000,

To create a MediaFormatProfile, take audio/mpeg and MP3 to create a MediaFormatProfile

<MediaFormatProfile mime-type="audio/mpeg">MP3</MediaFormatProfile>

The second line and third lines becomes

<MediaFormatProfile mime-type="audio/x-ms-wma" name="WMABASE">WMA_BASE</MediaFormatProfile>
<MediaFormatProfile mime-type="audio/x-ms-wma" name="WMAFULL">WMA_FULL</MediaFormatProfile>

Remember that the profile you are creating is extending the Generic Profile which can be found in the serviio-1.4.1.2/config directory, so when you have created your MediaFormatProfiles for all the mime-type you can ignore all the ones that already exist and just add the missing entries.

<Profile id="LTDN42K680XWSEU3DA0CB" name="LTDN42K680XWSEU3DA0CB" extendsProfileId="1">
<ContentDirectoryMessageBuilder/>
<Detection>
<UPnPSearch>
<FriendlyName>^LTDN42K680XWSEU3DA0CB</FriendlyName>
</UPnPSearch>
</Detection>
<MediaFormatProfiles>
<MediaFormatProfile mime-type="audio/mpeg">MP3</MediaFormatProfile>
<MediaFormatProfile mime-type="audio/x-ms-wma" name="WMABASE">WMA_BASE</MediaFormatProfile>
<MediaFormatProfile mime-type="audio/x-ms-wma" name="WMAFULL">WMA_FULL</MediaFormatProfile>
</MediaFormatProfiles>
</Profile>

You may find as I did that some of the entries cause the serviio server to stop, you will need to check the serviio.log file serviio-1.4.1.2/log directory.

I find on the serviio console I have to manually assign the new profile I have created.

Hope that helps
