Movies series and grouping.

Hello!

I want to ask you if there is any way to make serviio group movies in series groups, what I mean does not concern TV Series but movies collection.
To be more precise I am asking if there is an option to make serviio group movies from a series.
For example when I am browsing my movie collection on the TV using the Movies view I would like to see only a X-Men movie Collection pack instead of all of the movies listed as a single position.
So it would be looking something like this:

-Movies
--Movie 1
--Movie 2
--X-man Collection ( this is what is seen in the view, to be able to see what the group contains you need to navigate into it )
---X-Man
---X-Man 2
---X-Man 3
etc. etc.

My second concern is about folders pictures. I am using Sony Bravia 2014 TV. When I am viewing my movie collection using the "Movies" presentation visibility, every single movie is displayed and instead of generated thumbnail I can see a nice looking DVD cover, which btw is what I want. However this does not apply to any other presentation method.
For example, when I navigate through the TV Series presentation I am having regular folder thumbnail instead of a nice DVD cover, the DVD cover is applied only as the videos thumbnails when I navigate to the episodes list. Is there any chance to force my Sony TV or Serviio to display Covers instead the default folder icon? The same thing applies to the Music view. CD cover is used only when I will navigate into files selection, even the Album folder is using the basic folder icon instead of the nice looking cover.

Thanks for all the interest and answers!!!

>>P.S.
Sory for all the mistakes I have made, English is not my native language but I have tried my best.

There is little that can be done. You have to rely a lot on folder structure and file naming and consistency. Tagging large MP3collections helps. But different formats (codecs) all have differing or none tagging. There aren't many tagging utilities that handle a wide range and these may not let you search/sort through most or all of your media collection. You are maintaining both tags and folder/file names to a sufficient detail (and the detail you need when browsing media on a screen to decide which item to play is often off on the right somewhere slowing scrolling left to your decision making eyes - they haven't figured that one out yet!). You could put it all together in your own external database tied to the file locations (third level). You get what you get from media databases (TV, Movies) that do not exist for things like all the ever produced, TV or concert broadcast Lady Gaga videos. Programmers have limits caused by just how things work so good ideas might not get implemented. And all the metadata in the world really CAN'T be tied to the files on your disks. Scary!

But I'm sure many readers can provide specific suggestions for some of your exmples.

Movie Collections - has been requested in the past. Vote for it - it may help prioritise the request.

I have missed several movies of X-men series and looking for high quality download links. I am huge fan of all xmen characters and Storm as well as Magneto are my favorites.

You might try making playlists for your movie collections. I have a Star Trek playlist and Star Wars playlist, keeping them in sequential order since a playlist displays then in the same order that the list itself is in.

For Windows, Playlist Creator works quite well. It hasn't been updated for several years, but works just fine. Use the PLS format for saving the playlist file and make sure you save it into a folder that Serviio monitors.
