Serviio

Good day,
I just installed Serviio 1.2.1 on Synology DS3611xs (DSM 4.2.3202).
I have a problem selecting any renderer profile in "status" tab:
- I select correct profile for a device (Denon, Viera etc) from the drop-down list
- I click save
- I get the message "Saved"
- I click "refresh"
- all the renderer profile come back to "Generic DLNA Profile"
- here the log of the operation:
2013-03-30 11:49:20,741 WARN [ServiioStatusService] UnknownFieldException occured. Returning error code 500 to the REST layer. Message: No such field org.serviio.ui.representation.StatusRepresentation.boundIPAddress

Your either using an old version of the console on your pc, or using a web ui (which don't support 1.2 yet). You can install the official console on your pc and point it to your NAS (see faq), or use ServiiDroid or one of the WP7/8 mobile apps.

I am using the Synology Serviio Console v1.2a-001 maintained by eg-blog.de.
I will check (or wait) for updates (even if the Package Center does not notify updates so far).

you are definitively right.
I installed Serviio 1.2.1 on Windows and connected the console to Synology. It works fine.
Managing synology server from the windows console I can anyway see the modifications into the synology console.

Don't use the web UI. It causes a lot of issues which is why I removed it from the main Serviio package for Synology.
