HELP installing Serviio on WD My Book Live 3TB NAS

Hello all,

I've previously used a WD 1TB HDD and Serviio Windows console to run my media through to all the dlna devices in the household...
But now I need more storage and to not have to switch my PC on all the time or leave it all 24/7 so now I have...

... Western Digital My Book Live 3TB ... only thing is Twonky which comes with it is terrible and outdated therefore Serviio is my option.

Can anyone help me with the installation as I'm most likely classed as newbie. Using Windows 7 Home Premium, a small guide to install if possible?????

I've successfully used this guide http://wiki.serviio.org/doku.php?id=install_wd but am not at stage 7 testing Serviio but I keep getting this message:

FILE ATTACHED IMAGE

Any ideas how to move forward and solve this issue?

All finished, just need to access the console to set the library but I'm having issue's doing so!

ANY IDEAS HOW TO ACCESS THE CONSOLE?????

On a Mac I have downlaod serviio 1.2 latest versiom and it run fine. I can read AAC) Itune) and FLac File (48/16 omly) on my Samsung BD player. Twonky did not allow that.

I have also install Serviio-linux on Mybooklive (step one to 7) with the instruction on WIKI.
Have start Serviio and monitor the log.
Serviio download many profile (dnla, sansing, etc,...) it take 5 -10 min each time you restart the server, before the server is functional.

Once the serveer available, you can access Serviio on WD using the serviio-console on your mac. To do this, you have to click right the program with mouse and acces the Packet.
You than have to edit with Textedit the content of the file info.plist to add 2 codes lines <key>serviio.remoteHost</key>
<string>192.168.2.10</string> near the end. *the 192.... address is the address of MyBooklive. Change it for yours.

<key>serviio.home</key>
<string>$JAVAROOT</string>
<key>java.net.preferIPv4Stack</key>
<string>true</string>

<key>serviio.remoteHost</key>
<string>192.168.2.10</string>

Save the file and start the serviio-console. It might take some several minutes if the serviio server was just start.

Search the forum for PC instruction, they are there, I believe that their also a web base application for the console (not available for the mac(

Have tried to assign the pat to my music library on my mac and on MYBooklive/Public/Shared music but I am stock there. Paths are not recognized. I will keep trying later... Help would be appreciate.

From where did you download Serviio V1.2.. We all are eagerly waiting for the release of V1.2

sorry it took a few days to get back to you.

I am using Windows machines which previously ran serviio on them fine but obviously I needed to leave the machine on all the time which was not ideal, hence buying the NAS. The files you mentioned changing, here they are on windows, I originally took a screen shot in case things went wrong, those files are still the same now but I should try and change them...any idea what to change here...?
