Change from PC Serviio to NAS Serviio

I've been using Serviio on my Windows 7 PC for years with great results, streaming all my media via LAN to PS3 playing through Pioneer TV and via WiFi to my Sony Bravia TV. (Thanks Petr!)
I've just purchased a Synology DS413 NAS and am in the process of setting it up as my new media server, but would like a little help if possible. I've followed through the wonderful Synology package installer (http://pcloadletter.co.uk/2012/01/25/serviio-syno-package (thanks patters!), and although it was a challenge getting hold of the java package, it all seemed to go smoothly.
The situation I now have is that Serviio (including console) is installed on my desktop and also on the NAS. The players can see both servers. If I shutdown Serviio on the PC and just start the console, I get an error reporting that the Serviio server can't be found and will shut down.
What is the easiest way for me to set it up? Uninstall Serviio completely from the PC and reinstall? Is there an option to just install the console and not the server? (It's been years since I did a full install and can't remember)
Looking forward to being able to leave the PC off for most of the time!
