Synology DS 213 Install - Libraries Will Not Add

I'm on the verge of throwing in the towel on a Synology DS213 install, but thought I would give it one last shot in asking for help. I completed the instructions on the Synology install and had success all the way to adding the libraries via the consol. I keep getting two red lights and no files show up. I can see the server from Panasonic TV or Bu-Ray but no files are there. Conosl is on an XP machine. I have given r/w access to the folders /volume1/music and /volume1/videos but no files seem to be coming through. Am I missing something obvious here?

In the interim, I gave the Synology Video Server a try and it seems to work pretty well and is flawless in its usability! Some very minor studders that I was hoping Serviio might do a better job of.
